A necessary recipe for any long-lasting multiplayer game.The graphics look fresh and it is surprisingly deep!Well worth a try!. It might take some time to get the hang of it, but once you do, it's extremely fun and satisfying!. Very simple premise and very fun game to play with friends locally or in multiplayer.. I know i know.Servers are kinda♥♥♥♥♥♥and laggy, matchmaking does not really find you any opponents yet but HONEST TO GOD. had so much fun in this game up until now. When it works it WORKS. Feels so good to predict your opponents movement or block and incoming attack and best them in a BO3.Got to shortly play this game at gamescom and was hooked from the start.Super fun to play against your friends however aside from A.I (who i found really hard to beat on the highest diffifulty) also really your only option if you want to just play some quick matches.I would definetly recommend this game if you have a friend to try it with, or the Queue times get fixed (but looking at it this way, they will only get smaller if more people buy/play the game).If you are iffy about the prize maybe wait for a sale but it surely is fun.. I keep getting crap advice replies so I'm going to go ahead and revise the review. I didn't enjoy the game. I can understand the appeal but after playing it, I didn't have any fun at all. The concept feels solid, but the gameplay and controls with a gamepad feel awful. It barely works with a steam controller. The simulated joystick drifts and seems to point down without any input on my part. The Logitech gamepad feels like there is some kind of input lag. It feels mushy and I don’t have that issue/feeling with hyper light drifter, hollow knight, dark souls, towerfall. The game is nowhere near as polished as any of the previously mentioned games. The “campaign” barely had a story. The dialogue in the story sort of reminded me of a dubbed anime. It was really cheesy, and often times I wondered why I was fighting my opponent. That isn’t why someone gets a fighting game or a… dodgeball Deathmatch (?) game but if you’re going to include bad dialogue and a bad story I’m going to comment on it. Lots of bugs, like the enemy starting the fight during the dialogue portion and killing me. Tie games that ended in loses. And I couldn’t get past the first opponent in the campaign. On top of the mushy unresponsive controls, the enemy had much stronger attacks than me on the first level. Perhaps a picked a crappy starting character, but why would it be so unbalanced anyways? Very cool concept but I didn’t have fun playing this. Got my refund and I don’t expect to buy it again.. I purchased this game to play in the living room with my brothers but it crashes when we connect the controllers. The game does not start when more than one controller is connected. Right now we cannot play it with controllers and certainly cannot play it with just the keyboard, mouse or with one shared controller. I am aware the game has partial controller support but I thought it would still be playable and not crash completely. Please let me know when full controller support is added and when it no longer crashes when more than one controller is connected so I can re-buy the game. Thank you.. I need a rematch button! and some taunting! XDOverall i realy like the gameplay and the concept. And the graphics are just to good!. The twitch integration is fun, and the story mode has different starting places depending on the character you choose.Overall I lost almost every game in multiplayer. It's a pitty the game doesn't have a 4-bundle discount so one could take advantage of the 4 player mode with friends.Is a fun and fast game for the price!. Bought this the first week it came out - no regrets at all. It's a fun game - particularly with xbox one controller (I've tried Steam controller with a community build too). It feels like an old school 90s SNES/Sega game. It needs more online players and the developer is tryibng to build the base.
